This 1-1/2" check valve from Magic Plastics is built for sump and utility pump discharge lines where backflow is a problem and noise is a bigger one. The quiet design cuts down on the slam and thump you get from standard check valves when a pump cycles off. PVC construction and a low 2 psi opening pressure mean it responds fast, and slip connections make it straightforward to install in either a horizontal or vertical run.
