About Product Overview

This WAYNE CDU790SS handles basement and crawlspace water with a stainless steel housing built to outlast the damp, corrosive conditions those spaces create. The 1/3 HP motor moves up to 4600 GPH at zero head, and it keeps working under real-world pressure — 3060 GPH at 10 feet of lift, still pushing water at 20 and 25 feet. A vertical float switch controls the cycle automatically, turning on at 9 inches and off at 4 inches, so it only runs when there's actually water to move. Top suction intake pulls water in cleanly, and the 1-1/2 inch outlet fits standard discharge fittings. At 3.7 amps on a standard 120V circuit, it's an easy swap into most existing sump pits. Built in the USA and UL listed, this is a solid pick for homeowners who want a dependable primary sump pump rather than a bare-minimum builder-grade unit.
