This Zoeller pedestal sump pump keeps the motor up out of the pit while the bottom-suction intake pulls water down low, so it clears a basin closer to empty than a submersible can manage. The 1/2 HP motor moves up to 3900 gallons per hour at open discharge, and still pushes 3840 GPH at 10 feet of head, with a maximum lift of 15 feet - plenty for most residential sump setups. Cast iron housing stands up to the wear that comes with frequent cycling, and the adjustable vertical float switch lets you set the on/off levels to match your pit.
Runs on standard 115V household power at 7.3 amps, with an 8-foot cord and a 1-1/2 inch discharge outlet that fits common sump plumbing. Backed by a 2-year warranty and CSA compliant for safety.
