About Product Overview

The Craftsman Z5400 is built for homeowners with 1-2 acres who want tractor speed without the tractor turning circle. A zero-degree turning radius means you cut around trees, beds, and fence lines in one pass instead of backing up and repositioning. Power comes from a Kohler 747cc, 22 HP engine paired with a hydrostatic transmission, giving smooth, pedal-free speed control up to 7 mph.

The 46-inch steel deck runs two blades and adjusts from 1.25 to 3.75 inches, so you can scalp it low in spring or leave it taller through a dry summer. It handles side discharge, bagging, or mulching depending on the attachment you run, and it'll mow in reverse when you need to clean up a stripe you missed. Rear-wheel drive and 20-inch rear tires keep traction solid on turns and slopes.
