About Product Overview

The Bostitch BTF83WW is a 28 degree framing nailer built for wire weld collated nails, the style favored where a narrower head profile matters for framing crews working studs, sheathing, and subfloor. A top-load magazine holds up to 100 fasteners at a time, so you're not stopping every few minutes to reload on a long run of wall framing.

It handles fasteners from 2 inches up to 3-1/4 inches, covering most framing nail needs on a typical job, and runs on an operating pressure range of 80 to 120 PSI, giving you room to dial in drive depth depending on lumber and fastener length. It ships as a kit, so you get what you need to get started right out of the box. Built by Bostitch, a name contractors know for job-site durable tools, and manufactured in Taiwan.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Bostitch. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
