About Product Overview

Cabot Australian Timber Oil soaks into deck boards, railings, siding, and outdoor furniture instead of sitting on top like a film-forming stain, which is why it holds up to foot traffic and weather without the peeling and flaking you get from surface coatings. The oil-based, alkyd formula seals as it colors, adding UV resistance and water repellency in one step, and the Jarrah Brown tone gives wood a rich, warm finish that lets the grain show through.

This 5-gallon container covers 1,250-1,750 square feet depending on how thirsty the wood is, so it's suited to full deck or fence jobs rather than small touch-ups. Apply by brush, pad, or spray, and expect 1-4 years of durability before a recoat is needed.
