About Product Overview

Cuisinart's Chef's Classic 2-quart saucepan is a straightforward stainless steel workhorse for the jobs that come up every day in a home kitchen: melting butter, warming sauces, boiling a small batch of pasta or rice, or reducing a pan sauce down to the right consistency. Because the interior has no nonstick coating, you get direct contact with the stainless surface, which holds up well to higher heat and metal utensils without worrying about wearing down a coating.

The lid keeps moisture in for simmering, and the handles are built to stay cool enough to handle safely as you move the pan from burner to counter. When you're done cooking, it goes straight into the dishwasher instead of the sink.
