About Product Overview

Cortex for Trimboard from FastenMaster pairs coarse-thread screws with color-matched plugs so trim work goes up without visible fastener heads dotting the face. It's built for exterior trim carpentry where a clean, factory-finished look matters as much as the hold - fascia, trimboard, and similar exterior applications where nail or screw heads would otherwise stand out.

The screws are self-drilling and self-tapping, so they bite into trimboard without a lot of pre-drilling fuss, and the Torx Ttap star drive gives you a solid bit connection that resists cam-out and stripping, especially useful when you're setting a lot of fasteners in a run of trim.
