About Product Overview

This K-Flex rubber pipe insulation slips over 1/2 in. pipe and self-seals along a semi-slit seam, so there's no tape or glue needed to close it up. The closed-cell rubber holds an R-value of 3.3 and handles a wide temperature range, from -297°F to 300°F, making it equally suited to hot water lines and refrigeration or chilled water piping. Each length runs 72 inches, giving you good coverage per piece for runs through basements, mechanical rooms, or crawl spaces.
