About Product Overview

Makita's BO5030K pairs a 3.0 amp motor with a random orbit action that spins up to 12,000 OPM, giving you fast material removal without leaving swirl marks behind. The 1/8" orbit diameter keeps the sanding pattern tight and controlled, which matters when you're chasing a smooth, even finish on cabinets, trim, furniture, or any project where the final surface shows.

The hook-and-loop base makes pad changes quick, and the 8-hole pad ties into the built-in dust collection system to keep your work area and the sanding surface cleaner as you go. At 6 lbs, it's light enough to run one-handed for extended stretches, and the 8-foot cord gives you room to move around a bench or workpiece without fighting the plug.

This is a tool-only kit that comes with a carrying case for storage and jobsite transport. It's UL Listed and backed by Makita's 1-year warranty.
