About Product Overview

Minwax Lacquer Sanding Sealer preps bare wood before you apply a topcoat, sealing the grain so stain and finish go on even instead of blotchy. It sands to a smooth, level surface fast, which cuts down on the back-and-forth of coat after coat. Being oil-based and clear, it works under most finishes without changing the wood's natural look, and quick dry times mean you're not waiting around between steps.
