About Product Overview

The NOCO GENIUS10 handles the two jobs most chargers can't: keeping a battery topped off without frying it, and telling you what shape that battery is actually in. At 10 amps and 12 volts, it's sized for cars, trucks, and other everyday 12V batteries, with an automatic delay shutoff that cuts power once the battery's full so you're not left babysitting it on the garage floor. Reverse polarity protection covers you if the clamps get crossed, which matters when you're working by flashlight in a cold driveway. The built-in battery test function lets you check condition before you commit to a full charge cycle, saving time on batteries that are already too far gone. It's CSA, ETL, and UL listed, and the compact handheld design stores easily on a shelf or in a truck bed toolbox between uses.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Noco. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Shop Local · Support Independent

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
