This Philips T8 linear LED bulb is built to replace standard 40-watt fluorescent tubes in fixtures that take a G13 base, using just 16 watts to do it. At 1800 lumens across a 48-inch length, it's a straightforward swap for garages, workshops, basements, offices, or any space lit by long fluorescent tubes.
Rated for 36,000 hours of use, it's meant to go in and stay there through years of daily on-off cycles without a callback. The Multi-CCT light color gives some flexibility on color temperature depending on the fixture setup, and the white finish keeps things low-profile. Since it's rated for indoor or outdoor use and meets California Title 20 requirements, it works in a wide range of settings, though keep in mind it's not dimmable and comes without Energy Star or DLC certification. Sold as a 10-pack, it's suited to jobs where you're relamping a whole fixture or need enough tubes to stock a supply closet.
