About Product Overview

Portacool built the Apex 800 for spaces where a fan alone isn't enough and a full HVAC install isn't practical. At 800 CFM, it covers up to 500 square feet, making it a solid fit for garages, workshops, warehouse corners, or patios where heat and dust build up during the day. The rigid pad design holds up to repeated use better than flimsy media, and with 10 speed settings, you can dial in exactly how much airflow you need instead of choosing between too much or too little.

It runs on a standard 120-volt outlet and draws just 2.4 amps, so you're not straining a circuit to keep a work area livable. The single-inlet setup keeps the unit compact enough to move where you need it, and at 88 pounds it's manageable for one or two people to reposition as the sun moves or the job changes. ETL listing and a 3-year limited parts and labor warranty back it up for both commercial and residential use.
