These SharkBite copper crimp rings are the connection point for 1/2" PEX pipe in any standard crimp-ring fitting system. Slide the ring over the pipe and fitting, compress with a crimp tool, and you've got a permanent, leak-tight joint rated for real plumbing and heating loads.
