Standing water on a pool cover adds weight, invites algae, and can stress the cover material until it fails. The WAYNE Pool Cover Pump handles that job with a 1/4 HP motor rated for up to 3000 GPH, moving 1600 GPH even against 10 feet of head, so it keeps working as water gets deeper or the discharge line runs uphill.
The bottom intake pulls water down close to the cover, and the self-priming design means you're not stuck bleeding air out of the line before it starts moving water. A thermoplastic housing resists the corrosion that kills lesser pumps left outside all season, and the electronic switch handles on/off automatically once you flip it on manually.
