About Product Overview

A wall support kit is what lets a Class A chimney system change direction and carry its own weight where it passes through or attaches to a wall, instead of hanging unsupported on the pipe joints above. Selkirk built this 6" stainless steel kit to handle that load on Type A and Type HT chimney systems, with an adjustable design that gives installers some flexibility in fitting it to the actual wall and pipe run rather than forcing an exact match to a fixed spec.

It's rated for continuous use up to 1800°F and can handle spikes to 2100°F, which covers the demands of a working wood-burning or high-heat appliance chimney, and it's UL Listed so it meets the safety standard inspectors and code officials look for. Stainless construction and an indoor/outdoor rating mean it holds up whether the support point is inside a chase or exposed to weather on an exterior wall. Selkirk caps the system at 50 feet of maximum chimney length, so factor that into the overall run when planning the install. Made in the USA.
