About Product Overview

KILZ PRIMR 5G LTX is a water-based acrylic primer built to block stains before they bleed through your topcoat, whether you're covering water marks, smoke damage, or old paint on interior or exterior surfaces. The 5-gallon container covers 1,500 to 2,000 square feet, making it a practical choice for whole-room or whole-house jobs where buying by the gallon would mean too many trips back to restock. It goes on with a brush, roller, or sprayer and cleans up with just water, so there's no solvent to deal with when you're done for the day. Recoat in as little as an hour, and it's tintable if you want to get a jump on your finish color. The flat white finish also resists mildew, which matters in bathrooms, basements, and other damp spots.
