About Product Overview

The Badger 5 is InSinkErator's straightforward, continuous-feed disposer built for everyday kitchen cleanup - not garbage disposal with a lot of extra features to figure out, just a solid 1/2 HP induction motor that runs while you feed scraps in and shuts off when you're done. The galvanized steel housing and stainless steel grind components are built to hold up to daily use without rusting out on you, and the 26-ounce grind chamber gives you enough room for typical meal prep waste without needing to run it constantly.

It hooks up to a dishwasher drain line, so it can double as your dishwasher's discharge point, and InSinkErator backs it with a 3-year warranty.
