About Product Overview

The Reliance RTM-199M-N is a natural gas tankless water heater built for households that keep running out of hot water with a conventional tank. Rated at 199,000 BTUs, it heats water on demand rather than storing and reheating a fixed supply, which means no standby heat loss and no waiting for a tank to recover between showers, laundry, and dishes. It's CSA listed and Energy Star certified, with a low NOx burner for cleaner combustion.

Installation calls for a 1/2" gas connection, 3/4" water connections at the bottom, and either a 2" or 3" vent, so it fits a range of venting setups. It's rated for use up to 10,100 feet in elevation and handles up to 150 PSI, with output temperature adjustable between 100°F and 140°F. Runs on 120V power at 5 amps.
