About Product Overview

This is Southwire's 14/2 Romex NM-B, the standard-issue cable for wiring general lighting circuits and receptacles rated at 15 amps. The 250-foot coil gives you enough wire to run a full room or two without splicing, which saves time and keeps connections to a minimum.

Inside the white PVC and nylon jacket you get two solid copper 14-gauge conductors plus a copper ground, all rated for 600 volts and 90 degrees Celsius. The flame-retardant jacket is UL Listed for indoor use, so it meets code for the residential and light commercial branch circuits it's built for. Solid conductors make it easier to terminate cleanly at outlets, switches, and panels.

This is not rated for wet locations or direct burial - keep it inside walls, conduit runs, and dry indoor spaces where it belongs.
