This 100-foot coil of galvanized steel wire from Hillman is the kind of thing worth keeping on a shelf in the garage or shop. The 20-gauge stranded wire is light enough to twist and shape by hand but still holds up for general repairs, picture hanging, garden staking, or craft projects around the house.
The galvanized finish resists rust, so it's a better long-term choice than bare steel wire for anything that might see moisture or outdoor exposure.
