What this page is

National Hardware Group offers an optional SMS text message program that sends customers transactional notifications about their orders. This page explains exactly how the program works, how to opt in, and how to opt out at any time. The SMS program is operated by National Hardware Group, LLC and delivered via Twilio Inc.

What you'll receive

If you opt in, we send SMS messages only when something happens with your order. Specifically:

  • Order ready notification — when your order arrives at your selected pickup store and is ready for you to collect
  • Pickup reminders — if your order has been waiting at the store for several days without being picked up
  • Final pickup notice — before the 14-day pickup window expires

Most customers receive between one and three messages per order. We do not send marketing messages, sale alerts, product recommendations, or any other promotional content through this program.

Sign Up for SMS Order Notifications

Use this form to opt in to SMS notifications for your in-store pickup orders. Your phone number will only be used to send the transactional messages described on this page.

Your information is sent securely to our customer service team. We will confirm your enrollment via email within one business day and add you to the SMS program. By submitting, you confirm you are the account holder or authorized user of the phone number provided and that you are at least the age of majority in your state.

Below are sample messages you may receive. Real messages will include your actual order number and the name of the store where you're picking up.

How to opt out

You can opt out at any time. Three ways:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message we send. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. The following keywords also work: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.
  • Reply HELP to any message for help and contact information.
  • Contact us at support@nationalhardwaregroup.com or (866) 469-8556 to be removed from the SMS list. Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time.

To resubscribe after opting out, reply START to a previous message or submit the form on this page again.

Costs and carriers

The SMS program itself is free to participate in. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply, depending on your plan. National Hardware Group is not responsible for carrier charges.

This program supports all major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and most regional and prepaid carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or any SMS-related personal information with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We use Twilio Inc. as our SMS delivery provider. Twilio receives only the information necessary to deliver each message and operates under their own privacy practices.

About our directory. National Hardware Group is an independent retailer and directory. The local stores we list and link to are separately owned and operated — we have no ownership stake in any of them, and most pay us nothing to be included. That includes plenty of stores flying a co-op banner that people don't realize are locally owned and run, not operated by a corporation. Store owners can choose to upgrade their listing for an enhanced presence or pickup features, but the base directory is free, and inclusion is never a paid endorsement.
