About Product Overview

Turbine vents use wind power instead of electricity to pull hot, moist air out of the attic, and this 12" Air Hawk model from Air Vent gives you a durable aluminum build in a brown finish that blends with most roof colors. As wind spins the turbine head, it creates a low-pressure zone that draws air up and out through the base, helping reduce attic heat buildup in summer and moisture that can lead to mold or rot in winter.

With a net free area of 95 square inches, it moves a solid volume of air without any moving parts to wire or motor to maintain. The aluminum construction resists rust and the UV-resistant finish holds its color under sun exposure.
