About Product Overview

AMES Blue Max is a liquid rubber waterproof coating built for jobs where you need a durable, flexible membrane rather than a thin paint-like seal. This 5-gallon container covers up to 500 square feet and goes on with a brush, roller, or sprayer, so it works whether you're tackling a small foundation patch or a full basement wall. The blue liquid rubber formula is low VOC and rated for indoor and outdoor use, making it a fit for foundations, basements, planters, roofs, and other areas exposed to standing water or moisture.

Apply it between 50 and 90 degrees for proper cure. Plan your schedule around the dry time: 24 hours before recoating, with full cure at one day. It's not UV resistant, so it's best suited to below-grade or covered applications rather than surfaces left in direct, prolonged sun. Made in the USA, this is a job for anyone dealing with water intrusion who wants a rubberized barrier instead of a standard masonry sealer.
