About Product Overview

Drilling into porcelain tile or glass calls for a bit that won't skate across the surface or burn out halfway through the job, and that's the gap the ARTU Porcelain Plus set is built to fill. Each bit carries a tungsten carbide tip, which holds an edge against hard, brittle materials far better than standard steel, letting you start clean holes for fixtures, plumbing lines, or decorative fittings without cracking the tile.

The set includes four bits, giving you a spread of sizes for different hole diameters on the same job. All four share a straight 1/4-inch shank, so they seat in any standard drill chuck, and a flute length of 1-1/2 to 2-3/4 inches gives enough reach for typical tile and glass thicknesses. Packaged carded for easy storage on a pegboard or in a tool drawer.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Artu. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
