About Product Overview

The Basement Sentry SUMP PUMP 2580GPH is a battery-powered backup pump built to kick in when your primary pump loses power or fails. Since it runs on a 12-volt battery rather than household current, it keeps working during storms and outages, exactly when flooding risk is highest. The submersible design uses bottom suction and moves up to 2580 gallons per hour, with enough head pressure to lift water 15 feet vertically before it starts to lose flow.

A vertical float switch handles the on/off cycling automatically, so there's no manual monitoring needed once it's installed. The thermoplastic housing resists corrosion in the damp basement or crawlspace environment these pumps live in, and it's rated to handle water up to 104°F.
