About Product Overview

A fixed base router built for everyday shop work: edge profiles, template routing, dado cuts, and trim work. The 2.25 HP, 12 amp motor has the power to push through hardwood and manufactured panels without stalling, and the variable speed dial lets you dial in the right RPM for the bit and material you're running.

This Bosch 1617EVS fixed base is part of Bosch's multiple base system, so it can move between bases as your routing needs change. A spindle lock makes bit changes faster and safer, and the 1/2-inch and 1/4-inch collet capacity covers most router bit shanks you'll come across. It's sold as a tool only, so plan on picking up bits and any base accessories separately.
