Bosch's T118EF blades are built for cutting medium-thin metal, with 18 teeth per inch giving you a clean, controlled cut through stock from 5/64 in. up to 7/32 in. thick. The bi-metal construction stays flexible instead of snapping under pressure, and the T-shank fits the tool-free chucks on most modern jigsaws, so swapping blades mid-job is quick. Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Bosch. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.
Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.
