About Product Overview

This SDS-max bit from Bosch's SpeedX line is built for heavy-duty drilling in concrete and masonry with rotary hammers that take SDS-max shanks. At a full 1 inch in diameter with a 16 inch flute length and 21 inch overall reach, it's sized for deep holes on foundation work, anchor setting, conduit runs, and other jobs where a standard-length bit won't get you through the material. The carbide tip is what actually does the cutting and holds up to the pounding a rotary hammer delivers, so the bit keeps boring cleanly instead of dulling out halfway through the job.
