The SDS-MAX BIT 5/8X8X13 from Bosch is built for rotary hammers tackling serious concrete and masonry drilling. Bosch engineered this bit under its SpeedX line, using a carbide tip to hold an edge through repeated hits on rebar-laced concrete, block, and stone. The SDS-Max shank locks into rotary hammers designed for that shank style, transferring hammer energy efficiently so you're not fighting the tool or the material.
With an 8-inch flute length and 13-inch overall length, this bit reaches through standard wall thicknesses and into deeper masonry without needing an extension. It's sized for 5/8-inch holes, a common size for anchor bolts, conduit runs, and utility penetrations on job sites.
