Cabot Australian Timber Oil is a penetrating oil finish built for the toughest outdoor wood surfaces - decks, railings, siding, and outdoor furniture that take a beating from sun and weather. This 5-gallon container in Honey Teak covers 1,250-3,000 square feet, making it a practical choice for larger deck jobs or multiple projects without running back for more.

As an oil-based sealer, it soaks into the wood grain rather than sitting on top, which helps it resist UV damage and repel water while still letting the natural wood texture show through. Being transparent, it's meant for wood you want to show off, not hide. Plan for 48 hours before recoating and before putting the surface back into service. It's not tintable, so what you see in Honey Teak is what you get, and expect 1-4 years of durability depending on sun and weather exposure. Apply by brush, pad, or spray depending on the size and shape of the job.
