A segmented rim puts this 10" diamond blade in a different league than standard abrasive blades when you're cutting concrete, block, brick, or stone. The segmented design leaves gaps around the rim that help clear debris and dust as you cut, which keeps the blade cooler and cutting cleaner over longer jobs compared to a continuous-rim design.
This is a tool for masonry work, not wood or metal - think foundation repairs, patio and walkway projects, block wall openings, or trimming pavers and stone to fit. The diamond segments are built to hold an edge through repeated cuts in hard, abrasive materials that would wear down a standard blade fast.
It's rated for a maximum speed of 6100 RPM and fits a standard 1" arbor, so it should mount on most saws sized for a 10" blade.
