About Product Overview

CertainTeed's MemBrain air barrier is built to do two jobs most wraps can't: block outside air infiltration while acting as a smart vapor retarder that adjusts its permeability with humidity levels. That means it helps keep conditioned air where it belongs in winter, then allows trapped moisture to escape during humid months instead of getting locked inside wall or attic cavities. It's meant for use in attics and walls, giving builders and remodelers one product that handles both air sealing and vapor control in a single install.

This roll measures 8 feet wide by 100 feet long, covering up to 833 square feet, and it's manufactured formaldehyde free. Made in the USA by CertainTeed under the MemBrain sub-brand, it's suited for new construction or retrofit projects where controlling both airflow and moisture is part of the building plan.
