About Product Overview

The Chamberlain C1000 is a 1/2 HP chain drive opener built for garages that need dependable, everyday operation without extra frills. Chain drive means solid, proven power for single and double doors, and this unit adds smart features you don't always get at this level - WiFi compatibility lets you control and monitor the door from your phone, while support for Security+3.0 accessories means it plays well with Chamberlain's broader lineup of keypads, remotes, and sensors.

It comes with a wall control panel and wireless keypad already accounted for, plus a manual release handle for those times the power's out and you need to open the door by hand. A safety sensor is included to keep the door from closing on obstructions, which is standard practice now but worth confirming since it's here. There's no built-in battery backup and no integrated lighting, so if either of those matter for your garage, plan accordingly. Good fit for homeowners replacing an aging chain-drive opener or setting one up for the first time.
