About Product Overview

This 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe from Charlotte Pipe covers drain, waste, and vent (DWV) work where you need a solid, code-compliant run of plain-end pipe. It's dual rated, so it handles both DWV applications and pressure service up to 220 PSI, with a maximum temperature rating of 140°F. That flexibility makes it a practical choice whether you're roughing in a bathroom drain line, extending a vent stack, or building out a pressure-rated system that needs the same pipe on hand.

At 20 feet long and 4 inches in diameter, it's sized for full-run installs without a lot of extra coupling. Plain ends mean it's ready for solvent welding with standard PVC fittings and cement. It's IAPMO certified and NSF listed, so it meets the standards inspectors look for on residential and light commercial plumbing jobs. Made in the USA.
