About Product Overview

This is 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC pressure pipe from Charlotte Pipe, sold in full 20-foot lengths for jobs that call for real pressure ratings, not just drain-waste-vent duty. Rated to 220 PSI and rated up to 140°F, it handles municipal water lines, irrigation systems, well pipe, and other pressurized water applications where a standard DWV pipe won't hold up.

Each length has a bell end for solvent-welded joints, making runs straightforward with standard PVC fittings and primer/cement. It's IAPMO certified and NSF listed, so it meets code requirements for potable water use, and it's made in the USA. At roughly 44 lbs per 20-foot stick, it's manageable for one or two people to move and cut to length on site.
