Chilewich built this utility mat for the spots in a house that take the most abuse - entryways, mudrooms, kitchen sinks, back doors - anywhere grit, water, and foot traffic collide. It's made from PVC vinyl with a vinyl backing, so it holds its shape and stands up to daily wear without curling at the edges. The nonslip construction keeps it planted underfoot, which matters most right where people track in rain, snow, or garden soil.
At 24 x 36 inches, it's sized for a single doorway or a narrow galley kitchen run, and the solid Indigo colorway gives it a clean, tailored look rather than a busy pattern. Since it's rated for indoor and outdoor use, it works equally well tucked just inside a door or set out on a porch or patio. Keep in mind it's not machine washable, so plan on hosing it off or wiping it down rather than tossing it in the laundry. Made in the USA.
