About Product Overview

Reaching high branches without hauling out a ladder is the whole point of the Craftsman Pole Saw Gas 8" 2CYC. Built around a 25cc 2-cycle gas engine, it drives an 8-inch bar through limbs up to 6 inches in diameter, with a 7-foot pole extending your reach well above head height for trimming overgrown trees around the yard or clearing storm-damaged branches.

A pull start gets the engine going without cords or batteries to manage, and the manual chain brake gives you a way to stop the chain quickly when needed. Chain tension is adjusted manually, so you can keep the 34-drive-link chain running true as it wears in. At 14 pounds, it's built for consumer-level yard work rather than all-day commercial pruning. It's also CARB compliant for use in states with stricter emissions rules, and Craftsman backs it with a 2-year warranty.
