About Product Overview

At 1-7/16" this DEWALT combination wrench is sized for the bigger fasteners you run into on trucks, farm equipment, and heavy machinery - the ones that leave a standard-size set short. The open end lets you drop onto a nut fast, while the box end gets you a full grip when you need real torque without slipping.

It's forged from chrome vanadium steel and finished in polished chrome, a combination that's held up in mechanics' toolboxes for decades because it resists corrosion and shrugs off the daily abuse of a shop floor or field truck bed. This is a fixed-size, non-ratcheting wrench - straightforward and durable, built to be the tool you reach for on the job that actually needs muscle, not finesse.

It comes carded, so it's easy to hang and organize alongside the rest of your SAE set.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Dewalt. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
