About Product Overview

The split point tip on this DEWALT drill bit bites into metal on contact, so it won't wander off-mark the way a standard-point bit can - no center punch needed. It's high speed steel, built to hold an edge through repeated use in steel and other metals, and the gold ferrous oxide finish helps resist corrosion in the shop or on the job. At 1/8" with a round shank, it's sized right for pilot holes and general drilling tasks. Comes two to a card, so you've got a backup ready when the first one dulls.
