About Product Overview

The DEWALT DWS715 is a 12-inch compound miter saw built for framing, trim, and general shop work where accurate angle cuts matter. Its 15-amp motor spins the blade up to 4,000 RPM, giving you the power to move through dimensional lumber and trim stock without bogging down. The saw bevels up to 48 degrees left, so you can tackle crown molding and other angled work that a straight chop saw can't handle.

Depth of cut runs up to 8 inches at 90 degrees and 6 inches at 45 degrees, covering most framing and trim tasks a homeowner or contractor will run into. An electric brake stops the blade quickly after each cut, and built-in dust collection helps keep your work area and lungs clearer. At 36 pounds, it's manageable to move between jobsites or store on a shelf when not in use. CSA and UL listed for safety compliance, and backed by DEWALT's 3-year warranty. Sold as tool only.
