About Product Overview

DeWalt built this 7 1/4" circular saw around a 15-amp motor that spins the blade up to 5200 RPM, giving it the muscle to rip through framing lumber, plywood, and sheet goods without bogging down. At 8.8 pounds tool weight, it's light enough to handle overhead or on a ladder without wearing out your arm, but it still has the cutting depth for serious work: 2-9/16" at 90 degrees and 2" at 45 degrees.

The bevel capacity goes to 57 degrees, so it's not just for square cuts - it'll handle angled work for roof framing, trim, and other jobs that need more than a straight line. An electric brake stops the blade quickly once you release the trigger, and the spindle lock makes blade changes (keyed) a one-person job instead of a wrestling match. It's corded, with a 10-foot cord, and CSA listed.
