About Product Overview

DeWalt built the Atomic line for jobs where a full-size drill just gets in the way, and the DCD794D1 shows why. At 5.88 inches long, it fits into cabinets, between studs, and up under sinks where a standard drill/driver won't turn. That compact body still runs on a brushless motor, so you get better runtime and longer tool life without the bulk.

The 1/2-inch ratcheting chuck holds bits securely for everything from driving deck screws to boring holes for hardware, and the two-speed gearbox (up to 1650 RPM) gives you control for delicate work and power when you need to push through denser material. A built-in LED lights up dark corners so you're not fumbling with a flashlight mid-job.

This kit comes with one 20V MAX 2.0Ah battery, charger, and case - ready to work out of the box, and compatible with the rest of DeWalt's 20V MAX lineup if you're already building a battery platform. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
