About Product Overview

DEWALT built the DCS380P1 around a 1-1/8" stroke length, and that's the number that matters once you're chewing through studs, pipe, or nail-embedded lumber on a demo job. It runs up to 3000 strokes per minute on a variable speed trigger, so you can slow down for control on tight cuts or open it up for fast material removal. The keyless blade change means you swap blades one-handed without hunting for a hex key, and the electric brake stops the blade quickly once you release the trigger, which matters when you're working in close quarters near pipe or wiring.

This kit runs on DEWALT's 20V MAX platform and comes with a 5.0Ah battery and charger, giving you real runtime for a full day of demo, remodeling, or rough framing work. The adjustable pivot shoe lets you set your depth of cut and control vibration as blade wear increases, extending blade life. At 7.35 lbs, it's a saw you can run overhead or in awkward positions without your arm giving out first. It's CSA and UL Listed, and made in Mexico.
