About Product Overview

The DCF961B is DeWalt's 1/2" high torque impact wrench for jobs that chew through smaller tools - lug nuts seized by rust, structural bolts, heavy equipment work, anything that needs real force behind it. With 1750 lb-in of torque and 1890 impacts per minute, it drives fasteners fast and keeps driving when the material fights back.

A brushless motor means more runtime per charge and less wear on the tool itself, while the friction ring retention on the 1/2" square drive makes socket changes quick without fumbling for a detent pin. Forward/reverse switching and variable speed control give you the finesse to start a fastener slow and finish it hard, and the built-in LED lights up dark engine bays, undercarriages, and tight mechanical spaces where you're working blind otherwise.
