About Product Overview

The DCH273B swaps the usual pistol-grip layout for an L-shape body, moving weight closer to the work and giving you a lower center of gravity when you're drilling overhead or into a wall at an odd angle. It's built on DEWALT's 20V MAX XR platform with a brushless motor, so you get more runtime per charge and a longer motor life without the maintenance a brushed motor demands. The SDS Plus chuck takes standard SDS Plus bits, and with a max speed of 1100 RPM it's set up for repeated hole-drilling in masonry and concrete rather than heavy demo work.

This is a tool-only listing, meaning no battery, charger, or case comes with it - a practical option if you're already running DEWALT 20V MAX batteries across other tools on the jobsite. At 6.45 lbs it's light enough to run one-handed for extended stretches, and it's CSA and UL Listed for jobsite compliance. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty on parts and labor.
