About Product Overview

This DEWALT 20V MAX XR angle grinder handles 4-1/2 to 5 inch wheels for cutting, grinding, and surface prep, without a cord holding you back. The brushless motor delivers up to 9,000 RPM and runs cooler and longer than a brushed motor, so you get more work per charge and more life out of the tool.

A built-in brake stops the wheel quickly once you release the paddle switch, which matters when you're moving fast between cuts on metal fabrication, welding cleanup, or masonry work. The paddle switch has a lock-on feature for extended grinding sessions, and the spindle lock makes wheel changes fast. At 4.65 lbs, it's light enough to run overhead or in tight spots without wearing out your arm.

This is a bare tool - no battery or charger included - so it's built for anyone already running the DEWALT 20V MAX platform. It's UL Listed and backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
