This Diablo round over bit puts a smooth, rounded profile on edges instead of a sharp corner, which is the finish most builders want on shelves, tabletops, cabinet trim, and furniture parts. The 5/16 in. radius gives a substantial curve rather than a light chamfer, and the carbide construction holds an edge through repeated passes without dulling quickly.
It's built to work across a wide range of shop materials, from plywood and composition boards to hardwoods and softwoods, so it covers most edge-profiling jobs without needing a different bit for each material. The 1/4 in. shank fits standard routers and router tables, and it ships one bit per clamshell package, ready to load and use.
