About Product Overview

Cutting aluminum, copper, or brass on a miter saw takes a different tooth geometry than wood, and this Diablo blade is built specifically for that job. The triple-chip grind (TCG) alternates flat and beveled teeth to shear through non-ferrous metals cleanly, while the -5 degree hook angle keeps the blade from grabbing or climbing as it cuts, which matters when you're working with softer metals and plastics that can snag a standard wood blade.

The 96 carbide teeth ride in TiCo Hi-Density Carbide, a coating designed to resist heat buildup and hold an edge through repeated cuts in aluminum extrusions, copper pipe, brass stock, and fiberglass panel. It's sized for 12-inch miter and slide miter saws, making it a fit for fabricators, HVAC techs, and metalworking shops doing regular non-ferrous cutting.
